## God’s Word Is Infallible

The Bible does not merely contain truth. It is truth, and it will not fail.

Every generation tries to place the Bible on trial. Men examine it, criticize it, reinterpret it, and decide which parts they are willing to accept. If a command agrees with modern culture, they celebrate it. If it confronts their desires, they call it outdated, mistranslated, or harmful. The problem is rarely that Scripture is unclear. The problem is that Scripture is clear, and people do not want to obey what it says.

God’s Word is infallible. It cannot deceive us, lead us into error, or fail to accomplish what God intends. Its authority does not come from churches, scholars, governments, or popular approval. Scripture carries authority because it comes from God, and God cannot lie.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”[[/quote]]

John 17:17, KJV

Jesus did not say that God’s Word occasionally speaks truth or becomes true when properly adjusted to fit the times. He said, “Thy word is truth.” Truth belongs to the character of God. Because God is true, the Word He has given us is trustworthy.

## God Breathed Out the Scriptures

The Bible was written through human authors. Moses, David, Isaiah, Matthew, Paul, Peter, and others wrote within real historical settings and with recognizable voices. Yet Scripture makes clear that God was working through them. Their personalities were not erased, but neither were they left to invent the message.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”[[/quote]]

2 Timothy 3:16, KJV

“Inspiration of God” means that Scripture is breathed out by God. The Bible is not humanity reaching upward in search of the divine. It is God speaking into human history. Because its source is God, Scripture is authoritative in what it teaches. It tells us who God is, what sin has done to us, why humanity stands condemned, and how sinners may be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.

Peter explained that prophecy did not originate in the private will or imagination of its writers:

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”[[/quote]]

2 Peter 1:21, KJV

The Scriptures did not come from men deciding what they thought God might say. The Holy Ghost moved them. God remained sovereign over the message.

## The Word Does Not Bend to the Age

Cultures change constantly. What one generation condemns, another celebrates. Words are redefined. Sin is renamed. Personal desire is elevated above obedience. Yet no cultural shift has ever forced God to revise His character.

“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.”[[/quote]]

God’s Word is settled. We are not. Our emotions move, our convictions weaken, and our understanding is limited. Our motives are often compromised by what we want to be true. Scripture remains fixed while the world exhausts itself chasing one new definition of truth after another.

This is why the Bible must judge us. We do not judge it. When Scripture exposes our sin, the proper response is repentance, not revision. When it challenges our beliefs, we must correct our beliefs. When it commands something costly, we must obey. Calling the Bible infallible means very little if we reserve the right to reject it whenever obedience becomes uncomfortable.

## Jesus Trusted the Scriptures

Some people attempt to separate Jesus from the authority of the Bible. They claim to follow Christ while dismissing the written Word. That position collapses the moment we examine how Jesus treated Scripture. He quoted it when tempted by Satan. He appealed to it when confronting religious leaders. He taught that it could not be broken.

Jesus did not treat Scripture as a flawed religious record containing a few inspired ideas. He trusted its words, commands, and prophecies. He said:

“Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”[[/quote]]

A person cannot honestly claim to honor Christ while treating the Scriptures Christ honored as unreliable. The Jesus of the Bible did not invite us to edit God’s Word. He called us to hear it and obey.

## Difficult Passages Are Not Failed Passages

The Bible contains passages that require careful study. Some deal with ancient customs, warfare, judgment, suffering, slavery, marriage, sexuality, and the roles of men and women. Difficulty does not equal error. Our inability to understand something immediately is not proof that God has spoken falsely.

We approach nearly every serious field of study with patience. We examine context, language, history, and purpose. Yet some people approach Scripture with arrogance, demanding that the eternal God explain Himself within the limits of their present knowledge. When a passage troubles us, we should study it honestly, compare Scripture with Scripture, and admit when we do not yet understand. What we must never do is assume that our confusion has exposed a defect in the Word of God.

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”[[/quote]]

The weakness is not in the Word. The weakness is in the reader, whose knowledge is partial and whose heart is capable of resisting what God has plainly revealed.

## God’s Word Does Not Change When the World Rejects It

Feminism does not change God’s Word. A movement may reject the order God established for men, women, marriage, family, and the church, but rejection does not rewrite Scripture. Human frustration with God’s design does not make His design unjust. The Bible does not bend because modern society considers submission offensive, headship oppressive, or the distinction between men and women outdated.

The gay agenda does not change God’s Word. Governments may redefine marriage, entertainment may celebrate what Scripture condemns, and churches may twist themselves into theological knots trying to bless what God has called sin. None of it changes what God said. Scripture’s condemnation of homosexual behavior is not permission to hate or mistreat anyone, but neither may Christian compassion be used as an excuse to deny the truth. Love does not require us to lie about sin. It requires us to tell the truth while pointing every sinner, ourselves included, toward repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ.

Islam contradicts and slanders the truth revealed in Scripture, but it does not change the Word of God. Islamic teaching denies the full deity of Christ, rejects His crucifixion as recorded in the Gospel, and refuses the biblical truth that Jesus is the Son of God. Those denials do not diminish Christ. Jesus remains who He declared Himself to be:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”[[/quote]]

John 14:6, KJV

Jesus does not become merely a prophet because another religion says so. He is the eternal Son of God, the crucified and risen Savior, and the only way to the Father.

Politicians can yell all day, pass resolutions, manipulate language, and use the power of government to reward agreement or punish dissent. They still cannot change the Word of God. Courts may issue rulings, legislatures may enact laws, and presidents may sign their names, but political power has limits. No government can amend Scripture, overturn the judgment of God, or vote Jesus Christ off His throne.

God’s Word is not settled in a courtroom, university, television studio, mosque, political convention, or the shifting conscience of the public. It is settled in heaven. Every movement will eventually fade. Every government will fall. Every leader will surrender his office, and every human being will stand before God. His Word will remain exactly where it has always stood: above us, judging us, and calling us to repent.

## Satan Has Always Attacked God’s Word

The first recorded temptation began with a question: “Yea, hath God said?” Satan challenged God’s command, distorted His warning, and encouraged humanity to place personal judgment above divine authority. That strategy has not changed.

The attack often sounds sophisticated now. People speak of progress, lived experience, personal truth, or evolving morality. Beneath the language is the same ancient rebellion: Did God really say it? Does He have the right to command me? Must I obey if His Word conflicts with what I want?

Satan does not need everyone to burn a Bible. He only needs them to believe it can be ignored. A closed Bible and a rejected Bible eventually produce the same result: a life directed by something other than God.

## Scripture Leads Us to Christ

Believing in the infallibility of Scripture is not an exercise in winning religious arguments. The Bible reveals the seriousness of our sin and points us to the Savior. From Genesis to Revelation, God’s work of redemption leads to Jesus Christ.

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”[[/quote]]

John 5:39, KJV

The Bible does not flatter us. It tells us that we have sinned, that judgment is real, and that we cannot save ourselves. It also declares that Christ died for sinners, was buried, rose again, and offers forgiveness to those who repent and believe.

If we remove the authority of Scripture, we do not gain a kinder Christianity. We lose the gospel. We are left with a Jesus reconstructed from personal preference, a cross stripped of necessity, and a salvation with no clear meaning. Without the trustworthy Word of God, everyone creates a version of Christ who approves of whatever they already believe.

## The Question Is Whether We Will Submit

God’s Word does not need our permission to be true. It does not become more authoritative when we believe it, nor does it become less authoritative when we reject it.

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”[[/quote]]

The real question is not whether the Bible can survive modern criticism. It has survived empires, persecution, false teachers, political movements, and generations of people who confidently predicted its disappearance. The question is whether we will humble ourselves before it.

Read the Bible carefully. Study it seriously. Refuse careless interpretations and dishonest teachers. But when God has spoken clearly, stop looking for an escape. His Word is infallible. It will expose what is false, confront what is sinful, and stand long after every human voice raised against it has gone silent.

## What Will You Do With the Truth?

This message is not only for feminists, homosexual activists, Muslims, politicians, or people whose sins are easy for us to identify. It is for every one of us. You may agree with everything written here and still be lost. Knowing that the Bible is true will not save you if you refuse the Christ revealed in its pages.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”[[/quote]]

Romans 3:23, KJV

Recognize that you are a sinner in need of God’s grace. Stop defending your sin, comparing yourself with other people, or trusting your religion and good works to save you. You have sinned against a holy God, and you cannot remove your own guilt.

Jesus Christ took upon Himself the judgment sinners deserved. He died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead. Salvation cannot be earned. It is the gift of God, received through faith in Jesus Christ.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”[[/quote]]

Ephesians 2:8–9, KJV

Ask Christ to forgive your sins. Ask Him to come into your heart and take control of your life. Trust Him as your Lord and Savior. These are not magic words, and repeating a prayer without faith will not save you. Come honestly, believing that Jesus died for you and rose from the dead.

Lord Jesus, I recognize that I am a sinner and that I need Your grace. I cannot save myself. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive my sins, come into my heart, and save me. I turn from my sin and place my faith in You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”[[/quote]]

Romans 10:9, KJV

God has spoken. Christ has paid the price. The invitation is before you. Repent, believe the gospel, and come to Jesus Christ while there is still time.
