The Lamb’s Book of Life

## Is Your Name Written There?

The Lamb’s Book of Life is where the names of those who belong to Jesus Christ are written. Revelation 21:27 says that only those “which are written in the Lamb’s book of life” will enter the New Jerusalem. The Lamb is Jesus Christ, so this book is connected directly to salvation through Him.

The Bible is clear that every person needs salvation because every person has sinned. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” None of us can save ourselves by being good enough, religious enough, or moral enough.

That is why Jesus came. John 1:29 says, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again. He became the sacrifice for sin so that we could be forgiven.

Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Lamb’s Book of Life is not a record of our achievements. It does not matter how successful we were, how much money we made, what title we held, or how many people knew our name. What matters is whether we belong to Christ.

Revelation 20:15 gives a serious warning: “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” That verse reminds us that this is not a small matter. Scripture teaches that judgment is real and that salvation matters.

Jesus also said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” There are not many ways to salvation. The Bible points us to Christ.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, your hope is in Him. You belong to Him. The Lamb’s Book of Life is a reminder that God knows those who are His.

If you have never accepted Christ, the question is simple: Is your name written there?

Salvation is offered through Jesus Christ. Trust Him. Believe in Him. Receive Him as your Savior.

Stand. Resist. Endure.
