A Crown or a Cancer
The Reality of Choosing a Wife
Culture tells men to pursue trophies—women whose primary value lies in their physical appearance, social media presence, or ability to turn heads. We are conditioned to prioritize aesthetics over character, trading enduring substance for temporary attraction.
But a marriage cannot survive on aesthetics. When the storms of life hit—when financial ruin, sickness, or devastating loss strikes your door—a pretty face will not hold the foundation together.
Men must stop choosing women based solely on what they look like and start rigorously evaluating who they serve. A woman who does not submit to God will never truly respect a husband. If her life is driven by vanity, the need for constant attention, and worldly validation, she will not build your home; she will drain the life out of it. She will become a liability in the spiritual war for your family.
A godly woman is not a passive, weak wallflower. She is a builder and a warrior. She possesses the fierce discipline, loyalty, and spiritual grit required to raise up the next generation and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a man in a hostile world.
The choice of a wife is the choice of your future lineage. It is the most consequential decision a man will make outside of his salvation. Do not sabotage your own house by marrying a woman who loves the world more than she loves the truth. Choose a woman who fears the Lord, because beauty fades, but character is the only thing that endures the fire.
